Commissioned by Cumbria County Council to undertake some consultation events with staff in Adult Social Care, to look at ways in which the Digital Offer could be taken forwards for residents and staff in Cumbria.

We organised and ran a series of workshops, with over 100 staff from adult social care in attendance. The workshops identified current issues with internet use in Cumbria, the perceptions around the elderly and use of the internet and how an effective Digital Offer might take shape over the coming months and years to ensure all residents and staff in Cumbria have access to information and services.

Following the workshops, we completed a full write up and recommendations paper which was submitted to the Board for review.

With a background in local authorities and social care, we were able to draw upon experiences and apply these to the discussions in order to get as much information as possible from staff within Cumbria Council’s Adult Social Care department.
